General Description
mStoner, the leading consulting firm serving higher education and nonprofits to develop Internet-based strategies and communications, is seeking a few great, experienced web interface designers to work on upcoming projects.
Please note: at present, we seek collaborators for project-based assignments, not full-time staff members, and would prefer long-term relationships with individuals as opposed to a firm.
We need collaborators with a broad and deep understanding of the Internet and what it can (and can’t do), knowledge of how design becomes part of a seamless communications strategy, and designers who can help us create first-rate user experiences. We’re interested in people who know how to design for complex, scaleable sites; who understand standards and accessibility; who emphasize function over gee-whiz technology, but know how to design a creative website that has both visual individuality and meet’s our client institutions’ marketing and business goals. You’ll work with an industry-leading team that specializes in building dynamic, content-rich websites using industry-standard technology. We want to work with talented individuals who can collaborate with us and our clients—no prima donnas need apply.

Voltaire Santos Miran EVP, Web Strategy I've developed and implemented communication strategies in education for more than 20 years now. I think my team at mStoner is the smartest, funniest, and coolest group of colleagues ever, and I can't imagine being anywhere else. Except Barcelona. Or Paris. Or Istanbul. To quote Isak Dinesen, "the cure for everything is salt ... tears, sweat, and the sea."
