Lots of Good News Today: George School Wins CASE Gold

May 01, 2009By Michael Stoner

First of all, I heard yesterday from Ari Betof at George School that the George School website won the gold medal in its category in the CASE Awards of Excellence competition this year. Congratulations to George School—and congratulations to the team at mStoner who worked very hard to build a great website that got lots of results.

Secondly, I walked into a conference at Dartmouth to hear that mStoner blog was nominated as one of five best higher ed blogs by CollegeWebEditor. Thanks to Karly Morissette for letting me know about this. Other nominees include Karlyn’s terrific blog, Brad Ward’s blog, EduGuru, and Tales from RedesignLand. I follow all these blogs myself and it’s a real honor to be included in such a strong group. Please remember to vote for your favorite….

Whatever. I'm not much interested in cutting edge but what actually works for real people in the real world. Does that make me a bad person?
