Marketing and communication professionals at education institutions who are planning major video projects or would simply like a better understanding of how video is produced.

What we’ll cover: 
We’ll walk step-by-step through the process of producing a short series of video vignettes, beginning with key messages and audiences and following with pre-production (scripts, storyboards, casting, and locations), production (sound, lighting, styling, and interview techniques), and post-production (transcripts, editing, music, titles, approvals).

How you’ll benefit:
At the end of the webinar, you’ll have a basic understanding of the video production process that will make you better able to interact with vendors and/or internal video staff , allocate people, money, and time to a video project.

The presenters:
Writer and creative director Mark Sheehy of mStoner has led video projects for a wide variety of higher ed clients. Director and producer Libi Hake of Olin/Hake Films, Inc., a frequent mStoner partner, has been producing video for education, health care, and other non-profit institutions for more than 20 years. Together they have produced TV spots for University of Detroit Mercy, student profiles for Trinity University’s Webby Award-winning Virtual Dorm Room, and video vignettes for George School’s CASE Gold Award-winning website.
