Susan T. Evans Promoted to Senior Director for Strategy

Dec 15, 2014By Voltaire Santos Miran

I’m pleased and proud to announce Susan T. Evans’ promotion to senior director for strategy at mStoner.

Susan joined our firm as a senior strategist in 2011 after a long and successful 22-year-run at the College of William & Mary. The experience she gained there in human resources, information technology, and creative services positioned her for her work at mStoner. In her three years here, she’s led the development of large and complex strategies and governance plans for clients that include Fordham University, Columbia University, Gettysburg College, Wilfrid Laurier University, College of Arts and Sciences at University of Miami, and the SUNY System.

In addition to managing her client portfolio, Susan’s also a regular speaker at national conferences and events including HighEdWeb, edUi, UCDA, CASE, and the American Marketing Association. In 2012, she chaired the CASE Social Media Conference. Also in 2012, and again in 2013, she served on the faculty for the UCDA Design Summit. And her writing on marketing, communications, social media and digital strategy has appeared in CASE CURRENTS, UCDA Designer Magazine, EDUCAUSE Review, LINK, and mStoner’s blog.

Who better to take over the management and growth of mStoner’s flagship strategy practice from me as I focus more fully on my responsibilities as CEO!

In her expanded role, Susan leads our entire team of strategists that includes Fran Zablocki, Doug GapinskiDeb Maue, Michael Stoner, and yours truly in developing smart, sustainable, and tailored solutions. She’ll also continue to work personally with clients in formal engagements and lead mStoner’s social media and content strategy practices.

  • Voltaire Santos Miran EVP, Web Strategy I've developed and implemented communication strategies in education for more than 20 years now. I think my team at mStoner is the smartest, funniest, and coolest group of colleagues ever, and I can't imagine being anywhere else. Except Barcelona. Or Paris. Or Istanbul.
