about mStoner

One one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand. BAM. Someone just formed an impression of your institution. If that’s exciting to you—your communications must be breeding the results you want. If that makes you nervous, allow us to introduce ourselves.

Founded in November 2001 by partners Michael Stoner, Voltaire Santos Miran, and Rob Cima, our team provides smart, sustainable communication solutions to the nonprofit community and the organizations that serve that community.

With our combined experience in nonprofit leadership, marketing, and new media strategy, we’re well-equipped to consult, lead, and execute comprehensive communications plans. Our personal backgrounds working for higher education institutions make us especially qualified to provide guidance, build consensus, and manage "the process."

And we know our stuff. [SFX: horn tooting] Michael Stoner, president, is an acknowledged thought leader in the area of new media. Other team members have resumes and portfolios packed with print publications, radio and tv spots, fund-raising campaigns, software development, and books. We could also tell you that we’re smart, creative, tech-savvy, and (relatively) cool, or you could just take a look at our work.

mStoner’s main office is located in the decidedly un-corporate Historic Ravenswood area of Chicago (Irving Park and Ravenswood, for those of you who are familiar with the city)—a large, renovated loft space in what was once a rubber factory. Our office is built to host. If you come for a visit, we’ll gladly take you for a tour, introduce you to our team, and buy you a drink at Brownstone, right down the street.
