Smart and Sustainable

in another life

I lived on Guam where I worked as a dairy product mascot.
I designed merchandise and promotional print pieces for bands, small businesses, and nonprofits.
I learned how to make the perfect espresso-based drink (and subsequently made approximately 22,500 perfect espresso-based drinks over the next three years).

As an interactive designer, I transform the ideas and ideals a website needs to convey into an appealing and easy-to-navigate design. From the wireframes (the bare-bones layout of a website) to the pixel-by-pixel alignment of final content, I ensure that each page makes optimal use of space and aesthetics in order to resonate with its intended audience. If you think about your site as your first impression, I’m the girl who helps you decide what you should wear and makes sure you don’t have virtual spinach in your virtual teeth. I recently completed design suites for the College of William & Mary, Mason School of Business, and Boston College Graduate School of Social Work.

I graduated from Columbia College with a BFA in graphic design, although I began my college career as a hopelessly romantic fine arts major. As such, when I’m not staring at my computer monitor, I’m probably drawing, thinking about drawing, or looking at art. So far, I’ve visited nine countries on four continents and learned how to embarrass myself in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and most recently Greek.
