Smart and Sustainable

in another life

I developed financial analyses and analytical models.
I prepared large-scale insurance claims for a variety of industries, such as a coal mine, a communication company, and a pizza factory.
I prepped team members for depositions, expert testimony, and grand jury appearances.

mStoner has been growing, growing, growing lately and, at some point, Voltaire didn’t have enough hours in the day to spend quality time with our clients AND worry about little things like, uhm, getting paid. He picked the funn-er option and handed off all the boring numbers stuff to someone else. That’s where I came in.

Just like you as a client will inevitably talk with Katie and Voltaire, you’ll likely hear from me eventually, too. During a typical engagement, I work with the client to develop and finalize service agreements and billing milestones. I’ll also be the one sending invoices and making sure you and your accounting department have everything you need.

A large part of my role is focused on internal finance and—in an office full of wildly creative people—my details- and numbers-oriented mindset makes me a bit of an odd duck. They put up with me because I like to bake. My goal is to make the administrative aspects of a project as easy as possible for our folks so they can focus on you.

I hold a BS degree in finance and international studies from Indiana University and a MSEd in higher education administration and policy from Northwestern University.
