Patrick DiMichele Senior Strategist
Since joining mStoner I’ve held a number of positions within the firm, including interactive designer, design director, and (now) senior strategist. The vaguely defined nature of my current role gives me an excuse to look over everyone’s shoulder and voice an unsolicited opinion, usually with the justification that “it’s just part of my job.”
On a typical assignment I work as part of a small team to define the big-picture strategy governing a project. From there, I collaborate with writers, designers, and technology gurus to ensure that the abstract concept we conceived at the beginning of the project matches up with the product we deliver at project’s end.
I’m currently knee-deep in projects for Hofstra Law School, James Madison University, Middlesex School, Swarthmore College and University of Idaho.
The “greatest hits” from my previous work include:
Whenever possible, I aim for solutions that simplify. Fewer features, fewer photos, fewer messages—and unless I’m physically overpowered by a really strong client, fewer links.
I hold a BA in English and political science from Indiana University. When not in the office, I spend inordinate amounts of time attempting to teach my cartoonishly high-strung dog to fetch.
