Smart and Sustainable

"mStoner helped us define our goals for this project. One of the reasons we chose mStoner was their ability to elicit administrative and faculty wants and needs. We had three candidates for this redesign, and mStoner was the overwhelming favorite of the faculty and staff."

Challenge: Push past “U.S. News and World Report.” Within the law school market, rankings are overvalued, and applicants tend to overlook schools that offer great experiential learning opportunities or simply a better cultural fit. Widener offers a curriculum and a learning environment that focus on producing attorneys who are able to practice the moment the graduate—in whatever area of law they decide to pursue.

Solution: Develop a web presence that establishes the value of what Widener has to offer—an intellectually and experientially rigorous education that prepares people who can parse and practice the law. Our team developed and executed the creative strategy, customized the Sitecore content management system, and assisted in the buildout of the site.

Result: a design that supports great usability and current best practices on the web. We partnered with photographer Stephen Spartana to take an authentic approach to visual storytelling—the site’s photo library illustrates academics, experiential learning opportunities, and unique law programs available at both campuses. And we partnered with our client, establishing a day-to-day work relationship that allowed us to keep the project on track, on budget, and on time in the face of an aggressive launch date and limited client staffing.
