Start the School Year Off With Free Professional Development

Aug 29, 2013By mStoner Staff

Well, it’s almost here. Another school year is knocking on our door, with all the projects and responsibilities that come with it. Just as we need a good cup of coffee to start the day off right, it’s helpful to start off the school year with some useful tools to help us succeed in 2013–2014.

Let mStoner help you and your colleagues stay up-to-date.  All you need to do is fill out the form at the bottom of this post and you’ll be registered to receive the following resources:

Monthly Intelligence

First, our e‑newsletter, Intelligence, comes out every month with fresh ideas, tips, and resources about various topics related to higher education. This is an easy way to keep current about the latest trends, topics, and resources in the industry without having your inbox overflow. The August 2013 issue included information about how to measure and analyze your social media effectiveness.

Webinars

mStoner also produces complimentary webinars, such as this recent webinar, “Who’s Zoomin’ Who? Making it Work With External Partners.” We try to offer at least one free webinar each month on topics ranging from mobile, social media, analytics, project management, and more.

Conference Coverage

We’ve started partnering with some of the top conferences in the industry to offer special media coverage. Our team conducts video interviews, live-blogs, tweets, and live-streams these conferences. This summer we partnered with the Web Conference at Penn State and streamed 13 of the conference’s top sessions to viewers around the world. For example, check out Karen McGrane’s stellar keynote or Doug Gapinski’s session on usability in the post-desktop world. Or check out the entire list on our YouTube channel.

Thought Leadership

Finally, we’ll keep you posted on the latest and greatest the industry has to offer by curating content from Higher Ed Live and EDUniverse.
