Accessibility and the Web

Aug 08, 2003By Voltaire Santos Miran

Zeldman’s Daily Report post for 5 August contains a link to a great presentation on accessibility that he delivered at Web Design World 2003: http://www.happycog.com/lectures/access.

He references Joe Clark’s Building Accessible Websites (New Riders, 2002), a book that we’ve also used as a guide for many of our accessibility recommendations. Other decent nightstand reading on the issue of accessibility includes Slatin & Rush’s Maximum Accessibility. Would be interested to find out what others have been reading to keep themselves knowledgeable about accessibility compliance.

I think my team at mStoner is the smartest, funniest, and coolest group of colleagues ever, and I can't imagine being anywhere else. Except Barcelona. Or Paris. Or Istanbul.
