Source for Flash email samples

Dec 20, 2005By Michael Stoner

While Flash emails apparently don’t work well for student recruitment-at least for recruitment of students who are just getting interested in an institutionthere’s some good evidence that they work well for fundraising. For example, Princeton has achieved excellent results with Flash emails reminding alums to fufill their annual fund contributions (and won CASE Awards for their emails). And lately I’ve seen some other Flash emails that are quite good-Christmas/holiday messages and other fundraising appeals. Here’s a good source for samples and related information, including information on results. Thanks to Brian Dowling from the University of Toronto, who shared this site with the UWEBD list.

Whatever. I'm not much interested in cutting edge but what actually works for real people in the real world. Does that make me a bad person?
