Join Discussion About Top Marketing Challenges for 2009—And Learn How to Address Them

Dec 01, 2008By Michael Stoner

Once we have your responses, as well as those of other respondents, here’s what will happen:

*If you’re attending the CASE 5 conference, join us for a panel discussion of the results of the survey: “Challenges for 2009: Dealing with New Issues or Struggling with Old Ones?” on Monday, 15 December, at 3:45 p.m.

*We’ll report on the results of the survey here on mStonerblog by early January.

*If you sign up for it when you complete the survey, we’ll send you a white paper analyzing the results of the survey. We’ll probably complete this work by mid-January.

This is round two of a survey we and Slover Linett Strategies launched in October. During the initial round, 150 thought leaders in college communications, marketing, and PR-among them leaders of the CASE commissions, PRSA’s national board, and others-were asked to identify the marketing challenges that most concerned them for the year ahead. Not surprisingly, more than half of the respondents cited financial constraints or budgetary problems as the top challenges facing their institutions. You can find out more here.

Now, we want to hear from you! Remember, please take 5–10 minutes and share your thoughts with us. If you wish to join our discussion at the conference, please do. And you can sign up before you take the survey to receive more information about the results.

Whatever. I'm not much interested in cutting edge but what actually works for real people in the real world. Does that make me a bad person?
