As an interactive designer, Alayna Foran leverages her unique client experience background to bring fresh ideas and design concepts to higher education institutions.
Alayna is a designer based near the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. She comes from a large family of seven children and is originally from a small town in western Colorado. After moving around to different cities all over the country, she ultimately moved back to the Great Lakes region, where her mom’s family was from in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Alayna is a graduate of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan with a bachelor of art degree in graphic communications and marketing.
Alayna’s first agency job was in Marquette as a visual designer where she worked on a variety of designs for websites, mobile apps, and software apps. After two years Alayna moved onto a new agency position near Minneapolis where she spent four years as the primary visual designer and go-to marketing person. Her previous clients include Minnesota State, regional breweries, local government institutions, e‑commerce companies, and more.
In her free time she enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. She loves to travel, especially to visit her family all over the country and world.

Favorite books: I have always loved The Great Gatsby (fan girl for the 1920s aesthetic) a recent favorite is the Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Favorite TV show: Of all-time: Parks & Recreation and currently: any kind of easy to binge competition show on Netflix
Favorite places you’ve visited: Cuba! I took a course in college about Cuban Art, Culture, & History and then went with my class to study abroad for three weeks in Havana, Matanzas, and Varadero. I credit that trip for making mojitos my cocktail of choice!
Greatest achievement to date: Either graduating college or climbing a mountain on my birthday.
