YouTube Listens: Colbert Back for Now

It’s nice to know that after I published a rant yesterday about how YouTube caved in to copyright freaks and had begun to delete Comedy Central and other material from it’s site, Viacom-Comedy Central’s parent company-relented and is searching for a way to allow YouTube to host its material. More here. So “The Colbert Report” and other Comedy Central material should be restored. For now.

YouTube’s original action got a lot of response from the blogosphere. It’s not surprising that people had strong reactions. Here’s a video commentary posted by a frequent YouTube contributor asking why Comedy Central did took this action now.
