In all of his work, his goal is to improve a client’s standing in the marketplace and help them satisfy their user groups’ needs. His creative work fulfills human-centered design principles, where the challenge of serving a user produces innovative artistry that is tailor-made to inspire the right audience behaviors. Ben is also a crack illustrator and his hand-drawn lettering and illustrations lend a whole new level of individuality and personality to our clients’ projects.
Ben’s resume demonstrates strong design expertise that cuts across disciplines and industries. He has built HTML / Flash websites for the real estate, restaurant, creative, and business management industries. For three years, he was an environmental designer of Herman Miller and Haworth showrooms. His digital design work includes microsites, Facebook applications, banner ads, and responsive web projects for brands such as Blackberry, ATT, Lowes, JCPenney, Ritz, Kraft, and Oscar Mayer. Ben holds a bachelor’s in fine art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. When he’s not obsessing over design details or tinkering with typography, he draws inspiration from digging through vintage books, magazines, and records and enjoying the outdoors with his wife and daughter.
