Nicole previously served as an admissions counselor at her alma mater, Champlain College in Burlington, VT. There, she spent nearly 11 years working with high school students and their parents as they navigated the college admission process. At mStoner, she brings that expertise to prospective higher ed clients who want to engage applicants in fresh, compelling ways.
Over the course of her career, Nicole has been an in-demand speaker on social media in college recruitment. She is a former host of mStoner’s “Admissions Live” web broadcast on the Higher Ed Live network, where she led dialogue about topics and trends in higher education admissions and enrollment marketing. Her hobbies include dragon boat racing, a competitive team watersport featuring 20 rowers paddling a long wooden craft festooned with dragon heads and tails, all to the beat of a drummer. She has two cats, a curmudgeonly tortoiseshell named Riley and a sweet but needy longhair, Bill. As a new Chicagoan and a craft beer aficionada, she’s looking forward to exploring the Windy City’s abundant breweries.
