The beauty of web standards

Apr 22, 2004By Voltaire Santos Miran

Last week at the CASE Marketing, PR, and Internet conference, some of you asked me about further resources on web standards at the end of my presentation “Best Practices in GUI Design” (soon to be posted at the conference site).

For a great introduction to understanding the concepts and the relationships between web standards, accessibility, and CSS, have a look at the W3C article, “How to achieve Web standards and quality on your Web site.” Also, check out the Web Standards Project.

I’m curious to know, how many of you are already designing and developing with web standards in mind?
